1. Purpose

To protect children, young people, and vulnerable adults who receive services from Psychologistics, ensuring their safety and well-being.

– General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) 2018

4. Definitions

– Safeguarding: Protecting individuals’ health, well-being, and human rights, enabling them to live free from harm, abuse, and neglect.
– Abuse: A violation of an individual’s human and civil rights by any other person or persons.

5. Our Commitments

– Prevention: We will take all reasonable steps to prevent harm, abuse, and neglect from occurring.
– Protection: We will ensure that individuals at risk are protected from harm.
– Reporting: We will have clear procedures in place for reporting concerns about abuse or neglect.
– Support: We will provide support to individuals who have experienced abuse or neglect.

6. Procedures

– Recruitment: Implement safe recruitment practices, including background checks.
– Training: Provide safeguarding training to all staff and volunteers.
– Reporting Concerns: Establish clear procedures for reporting and responding to safeguarding concerns.
– Confidentiality: Ensure that information about safeguarding concerns is shared appropriately and handled confidentially.
